January is already almost done and the first full moon for 2008 has been and gone. How quickly time passes!! This year i will "take time to smell the roses", even if it is as i am racing past them to get to my next job!! LOL
You know sometimes life hands you a gem to have and hold for a time, today i received one of those:
I spoke with someone at work today whom i have spoken with quite a few times before, but today was different, today i spoke with them as their true self, not as the public self that they usually share with the world. I felt very privileged to have had them share part of themselves with me. It is also humbling to have someone bare their soul to you. I am so blessed and hope that i will always remember to be grateful for the experiences i have, even the ones that seem so unfair. They all play their part in the path of my life.
Well, i have said really all that i wanted to say today except:
I have met and made some wonderful friends on this site and continue to do so. It is so nice to know that other people share our interests and our lives and are truly interested in us as unique individuals, it really nourishes my soul to have developed these friendships. My promise to those of you who have become my friends is that i will do my very best to give this back to you through my friendship and love and i want you to know that in me, you have someone who cares about you for the beautiful, unique individual that you are. You are truly valued.

Life going ok here in outback Queensland, Australia. It is very warm during the day and pleasant at night. Still warm enough at around 10pm to have a dip in the spa! Like this time of year.
Gardens looking good, all the annuals are now finished for the year as now too hot for them, but we had months of pleasure from them, so am content with that. The roses are flowering and the perfume is just beautiful, the blooms only last one day in the heat though. My lavender cuttings have taken off so will have more lavender in the front flower garden, should grow enough to flower this year. Will take some pictures in a few months when the heat is gone and post on the site for you to enjoy :)
Work is ok, have had "professional development" the last two days and all day tomorrow. Has been interesting and a good learning experience but i find it difficult to sit in a class all day!!
Looking forward to going to visit a friend in a couple of months. She lives about 2000kms away, so we don't see each other often enough and she is a wonderful friend to me. I may even get time to catch up with another good friend while down there too. I am truly blessed with the friends that i have.
In the next three months it is my intention to complete the painting on the inside of the house!! A big job, but i enjoy it and get a real sense of achievement when i see it done. Will also be helping hubby to do up one of the bathrooms to make it a more relaxing space to be in!
Back at work a couple of days now, not too bad although i am the only one in my building....all others still on leave......feels a bit creepy!! Am getting stuck into some units of study that have to be completed by Feb and feel that i have made a fair dent so far. The peace and quiet in the place has been good for that!
On the home front, have made another batch of the scrumptious mango chutney, the last batch was a big hit with husbands mates. It is finally raining again here at the moment, the garden just grows so much better with rainwater. The rain sounds lovely on the roof too. It is about 32 degrees at the moment and i think it got up to 38 degrees earlier today. Quite warm. I am lucky to have air conditioning in the house.
Dogs are all healthy and happy and arguing over the rawhide xmas crackers they received. I think they have all been buried and dug up a couple of times, but the dirt seems to make them more of a "treasure" to be fiercely guarded LOL. You gotta love "em.
Missing family at the moment, most times, it isn't too bad as we have lived away from them for many years, but some days, just get a bit sad for self and feel lonely.
Was listening to new CD by rogue traders today, quite neat, i liked it.
Have had a few comments and messages from other covenspacers in past week or so and am pleased to have some new friendships. Well i guess that is about it for now from the pagan angel
Well as promised i have taken some pics of the circle garden. It is only one small area of our beautiful gardens but is my favourite and is starting to grow really well now. I hope you like it. I do most of my ritual work here and have screens up on one side to ensure i have privacy. The lovely jasmine i have planted on the centre screen should cover it completely by this time next year (or sooner). I have flowers, herbs, a ylang ylang tree and many other plants in the circle and i always have butterflies and birds around. Very nice place to be.
Hello all, hope you have all enjoyed the year to date? Mine lovely, relaxing, inspiring, nurturing and nourishing to the soul. I have been reading a few more blogs on covenspace and am impressed with many of the people who have sites. It is so nice to get to know about peoples lives and loves.
I plan to take some pics of the garden in the next few days to add to my photos. I talk about my garden all the time and figured it might be nice to give you all an idea of what it is like. I now have a circle garden established where i do most of my ritual workings and it has a beautiful feel to it. I am very blessed.
All my boys are back home again now, only for a couple of months (or that is the plan!) but i am happy to have them all here again. My oldest is 21 this month!! I feel old, into my crone phase now. My middle one turned 19 recently too. I feel very outnumbered being the only female in the house. Sometimes struggle to get energy balance!! but don't want it any other way.
