Well hi again everyone, and a special hello to my new friends in the space :) It is great to meet people with similar interests and beliefs. I hope that you have all had a good March, ours has been busy but had some highpoints. We are hoping that we have finally found our block of dirt to call our own. It is a nice acreage with a small dam, and is quite tranquil and picturesque and is good buying (we hope!) There are some very pretty hills and gullies and a beautiful outlook.We have an appt with the solicitor on Monday to sign the contract, we met with them today and had a couple of special clauses added to cover soil testing etc.and it has been sent to the vendors solicitor for their acceptance prior to all parties signing. Would hate to buy a great piece of this land and find it has had loads of toxic chemicals etc used on it.
We have also registered with earth hour for tomorrow night and i encourage you all to do the same. This earth of ours needs us to take care of it and treat it with respect. We will have a candlelit dinner and maybe sit out under the stars and enjoy the view :)
Merry meet everyone :) Hope this finds you all in good health and humour? I have just returned from a couple of weeks away and am pleased to be home once again. Missed my family, including the furry and feathery ones!! The gardens are looking pretty good, it's a huge job for someone to manage and our oldest son did a good job for us. We put in a new part just before we left and it is settling in nicely and we managed to pick up some inexpensive plants while away too!! They cost a lot out here in the desert so we always look for bargains when away. It was nice to catch up with family and friends while away too, we are very lucky.
We had hoped to find a nice bush block to one day use as an escape/retreat type thing. Drove for hours but didn't find one, but....home for only a few hours and my lovely sister sent me an email about one she saw and has offered to go and have a look at it for us!! Maybe this is the one, here's hoping anyway.

Merry meet friends, i hope that you are all enjoying February?? It seems to going so fast>......"someone stop the ride, i wanna get off!!!" I have had a very hectic month so far and am feeling a bit run down and sad :(
I have some great friends in covenspace and in one way or another, they all brighten the dark when it comes. I thank them for that.
Tomorrow will see a brighter day i am sure and i will thank them and the goddess for her love, guidance and nurturing.

Merry meet all !!, Hope you all enjoyed Imbolc??? Would love to hear how you all celebrated it. We have had some wonderful rain in our city this week, not a lot, but enough to make it feel clean and fresh again. There has been a lot more elsewhere in the state and there has been widespread flooding in some regions as well. We have been in drought for a long time now and i believe that this is mother earths way of healing her dry and barren lands. I do feel for the people that have had damage to their homes and a great deal of disruption to their lives in the wake of it though.
Life is good out here and i have done some more painting in the house and feel good for having done it!! I still have a lot to do, but no real rush. My hands are feeling better this week, they were sore for a while from getting the old tiles off the bathroom floor, managed to dedicate a little of my life force liquid to the concrete underneath, but not too bad and it was good for getting rid of some pent up energy and angst!!
Two of the dogs had their annual vet visit and were pretty unimpressed with me for a couple of days. The older one has to go and have a tooth taken out under anaesthetic on Friday, so feel sad for him but i am sure he will do just fine and will feel better for it. I feel bad as it was right in the back of his jaw and i didn't know it was loose, bad pet owner!!! From now on, part of their weekly wash will be a dental check too.
