Merry meet friends, well how lucky am i?? I have had a lovely xmas and new year and spent time in my spa with a glass of wine today and yesterday!! I have attached a pic of the spa (the bit i could fit in the photo!) Was a bit too hard to try and take a pic of me in the spa and let's face it, me in boardies and a singlet top aint pretty!! The weather is great, everyone is healthy and happy and i am grateful for the life i have this day!!
Our trip away was nice and i enjoyed the time with my family. I have started on some of my plans for the outcomes i want for the year and feel confident in seeing them come to fruition.
One of the things i am most grateful for is the friends i have met online. It is a great medium for getting to meet people who have similar beliefs. Thank you friends :) You are truly valued.
I return to work on Monday and feel recharged and ready to begin my work for 2008, i am not sure yet if i will stay with the new career path or return to the one i know so well, i feel the break from it has given me the space i needed to get perspective on things. I miss my old job quite a lot and may end up negotiating to work both part time. I was doing that when i first took this job and it was quite stressful because i didn't know my new role well, now that i do , i think it would be an option for me. Who knows, will keep you posted.

Well, we were just sitting at home feeling sorry for ourselves because hubby (& dad) at work. And we thought...mmm...how about we take some pics!!! We haven't taken any for so very long. I have attached a few for a giggle. I particularly love the one of me and my youngest boy. He is so cute!! I just love him and we don't have many pics together at all because i don't like having my photo taken, so tonight we had fun and now have some memories down in digital form. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did taking them. If you are wondering why i have a sparkle in my eye, it is because i had a couple of red wines to relax into photo mode. LOL Our dogs are really more like children to us and as you can see they are very much adored. Ella is my girl and she is now 2 years old and is a shining star in my life. Declan's little girl is called Millie and she is now 3 months old and a very happy and healthy little girl. Merry meet friends, i hope this finds you all in good health and humour. Life has been busy for the past months and i am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (and it isn't a train!!)I am having a few weeks away from work and will also go away for a few days to reconnect with the family (and self!) I am a bit worried about the dogs and hope that they will be well cared for while we are away. Our little one had her last vaccination today (for twelve months that is)
The house smells lovely with dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks around the place. We have lots and lots of mangoes ripening on our trees at the moment and i have been given a recipe for mango chutney that i hope to try and make tomorrow. I still have to make some shortbread and white christmas too! I love xmas baking and decorating and would love to hear what you folks do to celebrate Yule.

Well another month almost gone!! Full moon was really nice and had a lovely feel to it this lunar month. Our youngest son finally got his own puppy!! He has waited a long time and as you can see in the pic, he just adores her. He is proving to be a very responsibly dogy owner so far and we are proud of how he manages her. They are as cute as each other!! I have made contact with a couple of friends from the past and it feels kind of nice to have done it too. Work is going reasonably well and i feel that i may be able to see it out for the year contract they gave me. I am going away for a few days next week and am looking forward to catching up with some friends down near Brisbane in Queensland. Also looking forward to enjoying some Thai and Indian foods!!! We don't have many places to eat out here and none that do either of these (my favourites~!) Also looking forward to picking up some new fabric dyes and maybe some more ritual herbs and supplies, can get on line, but its nice to be able to see a full range of things in person. I hope all my friends on covenspace are well and happy and enjoying 2007. Halloween isn't far off and i know it is far more recognised and celebrated in the states, so have fun and bright blessings to you all. That's about it for now, take care. Blessed Be Pagan Angel
Thanx to one of my new covenspace friends, i have had a peek at this cute fairy site and got myself a Fairy Name. My inner child is feeling very satisfied and happy about this bit of fun and given my love of gardening and flowers, i think the name fits just right!! Thanx friend
